At your next visit, ask about telemedicine visits which are now available to Carefirst patients. Certain follow-up or urgent care visits can now be conducted remotely through a Carefirst portal. All you will need is a PC with a webcam. As we launch this program, we hope to improve access for after-hours and weekend care, hospital discharge follow-up, urgent care and routine follow-up visits.
